Karl Viring

Karl Viring is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Governance & Steering at H&M Business Tech since February 2024. Prior to this role, Karl held the position of Senior Business Operations Manager in the CTO Enablement Team at Klarna from January 2023 to January 2024. Karl's extensive career at Accenture spanned nearly a decade from March 2013 to January 2023, where roles included Senior Manager and Technology Strategy Manager in addition to various consultancy positions. Earlier internships and positions included engineering roles at Bombardier Transportation and IT support roles at Scandinavian Airlines and Sellbytel. Karl holds multiple degrees from Uppsala University, including an M.Sc. in Computer and Information Engineering and a B.Sc. in Business and Economics, along with an MSc from Seoul National University and experience at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
