Michelle Caraballo Shannon has a diverse work experience in various industries such as veterans services, technology, retail, and the military. Michelle currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at HMR Veterans Services, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the VP of HR at Akkodis and as a Sr HR Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Michelle also worked at Walmart in roles such as Director of Public Affairs & State and Local Government Relations, Director of Global Leadership Development (HR), Director of Global Business Process, Workforce Management, Store Manager, and Developmental Store Manager. Additionally, Michelle has a background in the military, where they served in roles such as Maintenance Control Officer and Executive Officer in the US Army. Michelle'swork experience showcases their expertise in human resources, leadership development, strategic planning, and operational execution.

Michelle Caraballo Shannon completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2001 to 2005. Michelle later pursued an MBA at Capella University, completing it in 2008. Michelle then went on to attend American University, where they pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from 2015 to 2017.
