Corey Geiger is a prominent figure in the dairy industry, currently serving as the Lead Economist for Dairy at CoBank since July 2023, where insight and analysis on the dairy sector are provided. Geiger is also an accomplished book author, with the publication of "The Wisconsin Farm They Built: Tales of Family and Fortitude" in May 2023. Active in leadership roles, Geiger has been on the Board of Directors for the World Dairy Expo since 2018, chairs the Education Committee, and contributed to the 50th Anniversary book. As a columnist for Zander Press Inc. and a part-owner of Ran-Rose Holsteins, a family-owned dairy farm since 1867, Geiger has deep roots in dairy farming. Additional contributions include roles on planning committees for the Western Dairy Management Conference and serving as Secretary-Treasurer for the Klussendorf Association. Geiger's previous experience includes a long tenure as Managing Editor at Hoard's Dairyman and leadership positions at Holstein Association USA, culminating with a stint as president from 2010 to 2022. Academic achievements include a BS in Agricultural Economics and Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
