Katelyn Allen

Katelyn Allen is an experienced professional in the dairy industry, currently serving as an Associate Editor at Hoard's Dairyman since August 2019, where responsibilities include researching trends and news to provide dairy farmers with timely information while overseeing specific subject areas. Previously, Katelyn held the position of Publications Editor at Hoard's Dairyman, coordinating the development and marketing of dairy resources. Prior experience includes serving as a Communications Intern for the Animal Agriculture Alliance, a Freelance Agriculture Writer for Farmshine News & Southeastern Holstein News, and holding leadership roles with the Maryland FFA Association and the Maryland Dairy Princess Program. Katelyn earned a Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech and possesses a strong foundation in agricultural education.
