Maximilian Brand

Maximilian Brand serves as the Managing Director of EDGITAL, a HOCHTIEF company, since January 2015, focusing on helping cities digitize their infrastructure using IoT and Data Science. With a strong background in digital transformation, Maximilian has held several key positions within HOCHTIEF, including Head of Digital Transformation and Head of Digital Process Management, where responsibilities encompassed the development of digital strategies, project leadership in emerging technologies, and the implementation of IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Prior experience includes business development at HOCHTIEF Offshore Development Solutions and a management consulting internship at Roland Berger. Maximilian holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Maschinenbau from Ruhr University Bochum, and an MBA from Union College.
