Chester Española

Chester Española is an accomplished marine engineer with over a decade of experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as a Cargo System Engineer at Höegh LNG since August 2018, Chester has previously held positions at Northern Marine Group and BW Gas AS, where expertise encompassed main propulsion diesel engines, diesel generators, cargo compressors, centrifugal separators, pumps, steam boilers, and control engineering. Chester also has experience as a Technical Instructor at the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies, covering various engineering subjects, and briefly worked as a Training and Recruitment Officer at BW Shipping Philippines Inc. Chester holds a BS in Marine Engineering from the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy and has undergone undergraduate studies in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
