Mauricio Parada

Mauricio Parada, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting spanning over several years. Mauricio started their career as a Premium Accountant at BAE Systems in 2005 and later worked as a Senior Accountant at Hertzbach & Company, P.A. (Formerly Buchanan & Company.) from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, they joined BDO USA, LLP as a Senior Audit Associate for a year. Mauricio then moved to Playa Hotels & Resorts in 2014 where they served as a Sr. Consolidation Accountant until 2015, followed by roles as a Corporate Accounting Manager and Lead Accounting Manager. In 2016, Parada joined Madison Marquette as a Senior Accounting Manager and later took on the role of Corporate Controller. Most recently, they have been working at Hoffman & Associates since 2018, initially as a Corporate Controller and currently holds the position of Vice President of Accounting.

Mauricio Parada, CPA, completed their education primarily at George Mason University. In 2002, they began their studies in finance and successfully obtained a Bachelor's Degree in 2005. Following this, in 2006-2007, they pursued an Accounting Certificate in the field of study at the same institution. Notably, in 2013, Mauricio Parada obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
