Pietro Grieco

Pietro Grieco is an Associate at Hogan Lovells since July 2023, following an Associate role at Ashurst from November 2022 to July 2023, specializing in Banking & Finance with an emphasis on structured finance, debt capital markets, and securitisation operations across sectors such as banking, real estate, and energy. Prior to this, Pietro worked as a Lawyer at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where the focus remained on similar areas of expertise, including covered bonds. Pietro's early career included positions as a Trainee Lawyer at Chiomenti and as a Legal Intern at Consob and Banca d'Italia. Pietro has a robust academic background, having completed a PhD in Economic and Commercial Law at Sapienza Università di Roma, alongside various postgraduate degrees and fellowships, including a Visiting Research Fellowship at St. John’s University and participation in an Erasmus exchange program at Hogeschool Leiden.
