Saskia Stoker

Saskia Stoker currently serves as a reviewer for the International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship since June 2024, focusing on research that investigates the interplay between gender dynamics and entrepreneurship. As a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Stoker explores how to integrate opportunity-driven women entrepreneurs into varying social environments to enhance their participation in entrepreneurial ecosystems. In academic roles at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Saskia functions as an International Project Manager and Lead Researcher in Gender Inclusive Entrepreneurship, in addition to teaching courses on Market Research and Gender in Marketing. With a foundation in sociology from the University of Amsterdam and experience in various educational and research settings, including a previous role as a research instructor, Stoker is committed to advancing knowledge in gender inclusivity and entrepreneurship. Additionally, Stoker has entrepreneurial experience as the founder of DσAS, an organization linking education with qualitative research knowledge.
