Daniel Leung has a diverse work experience in various industries. Daniel first worked as a Summer Intern at the Hong Kong Government, where they consulted on revamping the pollution monitoring system for mega constructions. Daniel then joined Jacobs as a Summer Intern, where they advised on the Lower Thames Crossing project for Highways England.

In 2020, Daniel joined HSBC as a Summer Analyst in their Business Transformation program, where they provided consulting and change management services, specifically examining the impacts of IBOR reform on HSBC products.

Daniel's next role was at jumpstart, where they were selected as a Cohort Member and matched with Hypermile. Daniel joined Hypermile as the Founder Associate, working across all areas of the business including sales, marketing, product, finance, and operations.

At their most recent position at Hokodo, Daniel worked as a Portfolio Risk Analyst. Daniel was responsible for building a digital trade credit solution for B2B merchants, optimizing the automated underwriting engine, and managing the revenue/loss-ratio trade-off of the portfolio.

Daniel Leung earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at UCL, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "HSBC - Data Science & Transformation Services" from AMT Training in September 2020, and participated in the "Global Citizenship Programme" at UCL, focusing on the "Social Enterprise Strand" in June 2020 and the "Environmental Policymaking Strand" in June 2019.
