Shaun Taylor has been working in the tech industry for over 6 years. Shaun started out as a web developer for Nokia, and then moved on to work as a senior web developer for Arm. In 2018, they became a developer advocate for Anvil, a Python-based web startup. Shaun held this position for two years before moving on to their current role as head of technical development for Hokodo. In this role, Shaun is responsible for leading the dev team and overseeing all aspects of product development, from frontend to backend to infrastructure to machine learning. Shaun is also heavily involved in the actual development process, continuing to work as a senior web developer. Shaun is passionate about turning ideas into products and enjoys the challenge of working with complex codebases.
Shaun Taylor has a PhD in Plasma and High-Temperature Physics from Imperial College London and an MPhys in Physics from The University of Manchester.
