Pavan Chilukuri has a strong background in decarbonization and strategic planning. Pavan currently works at Holcim as the Vice President and Group Head of CCUS, where they have developed a CCUS strategy to help the company achieve its net-zero goals. Prior to this, Pavan worked at Shell for eight years, serving as the Director of Decarbonization and leading the commercialization of decarbonization technologies in various industries. Pavan has also held positions at Behr Process Corporation, Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd, and Shell Global Solutions, where they focused on strategy development, business consulting, and evaluating energy concepts and technologies.
Pavan Chilukuri's education history includes a Doctorate and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente (2004-2006), a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (1999-2003), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategy & Marketing from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business (2010-2012). They also completed an intensive summer program in Natural Resources Management and Policy at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2012 and participated in an MBA exchange program at HEC Paris in 2011-2012. Additionally, Pavan Chilukuri obtained certifications in Competitive Intelligence (2014) and Project Management (2015) from the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence and the IPMA: International Project Management Association, respectively. They also obtained certifications in Electric Vehicle Policy, Natural Resources for Sustainable Development, and Politics and Economics of International Energy in 2020 from Technische Universiteit Delft, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and Sciences Po, respectively.
