Braulio Vicente

Braulio Vicente, Jr., Cheif Operating Officer at The Villages Health joined the team in July 2018. He is a proven health care financial and operations leader with over 31 years of experience in multiple health care settings such as community hospital, academic medical center, and physician practice. Mr. Vicente is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the specialty practice in all of its locations including the new Center for Advanced Care at Brownwood opening in 2020.

Mr. Vicente is responsible for strategy and for operational excellence in our specialty care services with the focus on ensuring that our providers and staff have the proper environment to provide high quality, value based care to the residents of The Villages and surrounding areas. In his duties, Mr. Vicente collaborates with The Villages Health and community based providers to define and deliver first class care to our patients and families and lead process excellence in all of our care settings.

Prior to joining TVH Mr. Vicente held various leadership roles at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa including VP of Facilities and Support Services, Chief Operating Officer, Hospital/Clinics, and Senior Vice President, Hospital and Physician Group Operations. Mr. Vicente also has experience in both non-profit and for profit health care settings.

Mr. Vicente attended Florida State University where he earned a BS in Accounting and the University of South Florida where he earned his Masters of Business Administration.
