Fermentation & Downstream Engineer at Holiferm

Magda Costa is currently working as a Fermentation and Downstream Engineer at Holiferm since April 2021. Prior to this, Magda was a PhD student at Universiteit Gent from March 2017 to August 2020, focusing on yeast performance optimizations and fermentation processes. Magda has experience tutoring students at Mestres do Saber and 100 Dúvidas. Magda holds a PhD in EJD Food Science from Ghent University, a Master's degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, and completed a Master Thesis in Biocatalysis at the University of Amsterdam.
