Johan Swanepoel

Johan Swanepoel is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in the insurance and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Head of Legal & Compliance at Hollard Insurance Company of Namibia since April 2020, Johan previously founded Green Bag Compliance Consulting, where expertise in compliance management, tax compliance, and strategic company planning was developed from February 2019 to April 2020. Earlier roles include Legal Manager at Sanlam Namibia and Tax Manager at Ernst & Young. Johan's academic background includes a BLC LLB from the University of Pretoria, a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Taxation from the University of South Africa, and a degree in Compliance Management from the University of Cape Town.
