Jier Han (Jill)

Jier (Jill) Han currently serves as the Lead Scientist at Hollingsworth & Vose since January 2021, following a role as Advanced Scientist. Prior experience includes a tenure at Virginia Tech College of Engineering from May 2016 to December 2020 as a Researcher Ph.D. Student, where significant contributions involved developing high-performance in situ injection molding wholly thermoplastic composites and utilizing dual extrusion processes. Jier also held teaching and instructional roles at Virginia Tech, including Graduate Teaching Assistant and Lab Instructor, where responsibilities encompassed advising undergraduates in chemical engineering experiments, evaluating student performance, and grading laboratory reports. Jier earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2020, following a Bachelor of Applied Science in the same field in 2016.
