Narendiran Vitchuli

Narendiran Vitchuli is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in materials science and fiber polymer technology. Currently serving as a Scientist at Hollingsworth & Vose since July 2016, Narendiran previously held the position of Senior Scientist at Xanofi from August 2013 to June 2016, where leadership in research focused on liquid shear nanofabrication and process property relations was demonstrated. Additionally, Narendiran contributed as a Post Doctoral Researcher at North Carolina State University and Xanofi Inc. from August 2008 to August 2013, constructing a hybrid plasma-electrospinning setup that significantly improved nanofiber adhesion strength and resulted in a provisional patent. Earlier roles included research assistance at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where successful microencapsulation techniques for flame resistance were developed. Narendiran holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Fiber Polymer Science from North Carolina State University and Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, respectively, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Textile Sciences and Engineering from Alagappa College of Technology, Anna University.
