Sebastian Herrmann

Sebastian Herrmann has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sebastian started their career as a Co-ordination Systems Administrator at Auckland Convention Centre, where they were responsible for designing and implementing an events management system across multiple venues. Sebastian then worked as an Operations Manager at Celluphone Group, overseeing retail and distribution systems, staff management, and store fit-outs. Sebastian later joined Jet Park Hotel & Conference Centre, first as a Hotel Operations Manager, responsible for overall daily operations and change management, and later as the General Manager, where they handled strategic planning, sales, marketing, and guest service excellence. After their time at Jet Park, they worked as a CRM consultant and Project Manager for a hotel sector client, leading the customization and roll-out of MS Dynamics CRM. Sebastian then joined IAG as a Customer Experience & Improvement Consultant, focusing on improving customer experience, advocacy, and process improvement for Direct Insurance brands. Currently, they are a Technology Transformation Director at the Holmes Group, leading the digital transformation program and collaborating with the business to identify and capitalize on opportunities for collaboration, efficiencies, and improved customer experience through technology.

Sebastian Herrmann completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship at the Australian Institute of Business from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, they pursued a New Zealand Diploma in Business Management at ServiceIQ | Te Pūkenga from 2003 to 2004, where their field of study included Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Hotel Operations. In addition to their formal education, Sebastian obtained the Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist - Dynamics CRM Applications certification in June 2013.
