Practice Leader, Employee Experience & Wellbeing at Holmes Murphy

Ali Payne has an extensive work experience in various roles related to employee experience, wellbeing, and engagement. Ali currently holds the position of President, Employee Experience, Culture & Wellbeing at ethOs since November 2019. Prior to that, Ali served as the Practice Leader, Employee Experience & Wellbeing at Holmes Murphy & Associates starting from June 2019.

From April 2017 to November 2019, Ali worked at Gallagher, first as the Divisional Vice President, Global Practice Leader, Wellbeing & Engagement, and later as the Regional Vice President, Wellbeing. In these roles, Ali was responsible for strategically positioning AJG as an industry leader in providing wellbeing and engagement strategies and consulting services.

Before joining Gallagher, Ali worked at Running Ventures as a Running and Boot Camp Coach from January 2006 to July 2016. Ali also has experience working at Motorola, Inc. as a Sr. Wellness Coordinator from an unspecified start date to 2003.

Ali Payne has a diverse education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Ali attended Harvard Business School from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Leadership. Prior to that, they attended Nebraska Methodist College from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Health Promotion and Human Resource Management. Their undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Iowa from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Exercise Physiology. In addition to their degrees, Ali also holds several certifications, including ACE Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, AHA - CPR/First Aid/AED, Certified Wellness Program Consultant, JohnnyG Group Cycling, and USATF Level 1 Certified Coach.
