Nate Weaver

Nate Weaver has a strong background in surety insurance and risk management. Nate is currently working at Holmes Murphy & Associates as a Surety Client Executive & Shareholder. Prior to this, Nate worked at Marsh & McLennan Companies as a Surety & Construction Risk Consultant, where they were responsible for risk management, financial analysis, subcontractor prequalification, and contract review. Before that, they worked at Gallagher as an Account Executive - Construction, applying their surety underwriting background to consult with clients on their bonding programs and overall business planning. Nate also gained valuable experience at CNA Surety as an Underwriting Consultant - Large Contract, working with ENR top 400 construction firms and providing surety expertise to brokers. Nate started their career at Westfield Insurance as a Surety Underwriting Trainee and progressed to become a Surety Account Manager, where they developed and facilitated surety bonding programs for mutual clients in the Upper Midwest region.

Nate Weaver completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Financial Economics from Bowling Green State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Nate also obtained additional certifications, including the Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI) in January 2020, and the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) from The Institutes CPCU Society in December 2013.
