Michael Dougherty has had a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and web development. Michael started their career in 2010 as an Independent Contractor, working as a Web Developer. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Level Eleven Development as a Web Programmer, specializing in custom-built websites and development consulting. In 2014, they joined Building Energy as a Software Engineer, where they played a significant role in developing a system for the city of San Francisco to manage its building energy benchmarking requirements. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at CrowdStreet as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer. In 2017, they took on multiple roles, including Lead Software Engineer at Plant Group and Subject Matter Expert at Global Knowledge. Michael Dougherty completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University in the years 2002 to 2006. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same institution, attending from 2008 to 2010.
