Jens Marsling Bäckvall

Jens Marsling Bäckvall has been working in the creative and performing arts industries since 2002. Jens Marsling has been a dancer, actor, and performer for various companies and theatres. In 2008, they became a physical theatre teacher at Den Rytmiske Daghøjskole. From 2009 to 2016, they were the dance-theatre teacher and leader of the dance program at Musik & Teater Højskolen i Toftlund. During this period, they also worked as an event-manager and designer at Midgaard Event. In 2016, they began narrating audiobooks for Selvlyd and in 2017, they began studying computer science at KEA: Copenhagen School of Design and Technology. In 2019, they completed an internship in VR & AR at KEA ProjectLab and began working as a software developer at entropyfox. In 2021, they began working as a Creative Project Manager at Hololink.

Jens Marsling Bäckvall completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering at KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed an AP in Computer Science at the same institution from 2017 to 2019. In 2016, they completed a Nanodegree in Introduction to Programming from Udacity. Further back, they obtained a Physical actor, performing arts creator degree from Den Ny Dramaskole, Centre for the Performing Arts in Theatre, dance, and direction from 1998 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained a Networking Foundations: Networking Basics certification from Lynda.com in June 2018, and a Java: Data Structures certification from Lynda.com in August 2017.
