Cheryl Collins

Cheryl Collins has a diverse work experience in the education and philanthropy sector. Cheryl started their career as a Teacher at Westside Preparatory School in 1984 and later became the Lower/Middle School Director at Providence St. Mel School in 1996. After serving in that role for eight years, they joined Holy Family Ministries, where they held positions as Principal and eventually became the Chief Executive Officer in July 2018. In addition to their work at Holy Family Ministries, Collins also served as a Member Board of Directors at Chicago Women in Philanthropy CWIP and co-chaired the GIRLS Committee. Currently, they are a Member of the Board of Trustees at Augustana University since January 2022.

Cheryl Collins holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from DePaul University. Cheryl also completed a Year of More program in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) at the Wright Foundation for the Realization of Human Potential. Cheryl obtained their Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Loyola University Chicago. Cheryl previously completed a Bachelor's degree in Education from the same institution during the years 1980 to 1984.
