Simon Ahtaridis

Simon Ahtaridis serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Holyoke Medical Center since November 2019. Previous roles include National Clinical Advisor and CMO Advisory Services at Sound Physicians from June 2017 to November 2019, and Chief Medical Officer at Sister of Providence Health System from January 2016 to June 2017. Simon also held the position of Chief of Medicine at Mercy Medical Center from January 2014 to June 2017 and Chief of Hospitalist Medicine there from July 2011 to April 2016. Additional experience includes serving as Chief of Hospitalist Services at Cambridge Health Alliance from July 2010 to July 2011 and as President of the Committee of Interns and Residents, representing 12,000 members from June 2006 to December 2007. Simon Ahtaridis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, an MD from Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine, and an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
