Louise Harney

Louise Harney currently serves as the Head of Creative Development at HOME since April 2024. Prior to this role, Louise held the position of Head of Learning and Engagement at The Lowry from November 2019 to April 2024. Experience also includes serving as Interim Artistic Director and Artistic Producer at Burnley Youth Theatre, where the focus was on engaging children and young people in theatre and the arts from September 2015 to November 2019. Louise has directed and coached at Popsters Performing Arts, a community-based youth theatre group from 2007 to 2017, and facilitated drama and music projects at Mind The Gap Theatre and various secure care centres. Educational qualifications consist of an M.A. in Theatre and Development from the University of Leeds and a B.A. in Performing Arts from The University of Salford.
