Rob Henger

Rob is a 30-year mortgage banking executive that has led several bank-owned mortgage operations through compliance audits, fair lending audits, multi-billion dollar origination growth, M&A activity, POS and LOS implementations and conversions, risk management exercises, production modeling, and more.

Rob is passionate about homeownership equity. He is the founder of the FirstBank Forward program that earned his team the MBA’s 2020 National Diversity and Inclusion Award. In addition, Rob is the author of the whitepaper Balance America, a blockchain-based solution to address the Black/White housing gap.

Rob has held numerous industry leadership and board roles for several organizations over his career that include: Chairman of the MBA National Community Bank Network, President of the Alabama MBA, Data Compliance Solutions Advisory board, Leadership Birmingham Advisory Committee, Cristo Rey School Board, Habitat for Humanity, TMC Advisory, LendersOne Advisory, ABA Mortgage Cooperative Board, etc.
