Adam Smith

Adam Smith's work experience begins in 2009 as a Sustainability Intern at Kalamazoo College, where they also served as a Physics Teacher's Assistant and Math Peer Consultant. Adam later became a Campus Climate Fellow and successfully implemented a project to reduce campus energy use.

In 2012, Adam worked as the First Mate on the Schooner American Eagle, responsible for deck operations and customer service during multi-day cruises.

Starting in 2013, they joined REC Solar as a Field Marketing Associate, generating leads and managing a team while tracking marketing performance.

In 2014, Adam worked at Team Detroit as a Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst and a Business Intelligence Intern.

From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Programmatic Analyst at MediaVest, providing reporting and insights for advertising campaigns.

At Quicken Loans from 2016 to 2018, Adam worked as a Business Intelligence Business Analyst.

From 2018 to 2019, they were a Product Owner at Rocket Mortgage, leading efforts to improve data quality and implement a modern tech stack.

Most recently, Adam joined Homepoint in 2020 as the Director of BI Architecture, shaping the company's data strategy and reducing delivery time.

Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Adam Smith attended Kalamazoo College from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a B.A. degree with Honors in Physics and Mathematics. Adam also attended the International Sustainable Development Studies Institute from 2009 to 2010, although no degree was specified. In 2012, Adam Smith received certification as a Master and Mate of Sail, Steam and Power Vessels up to 100 gross register tons from the US Coast Guard.
