Shawn Farrell

Shawn Farrell has a diverse work experience in the financial and real estate sectors. Shawn currently holds the position of Manager, Business Operations and Strategy at Optimal Blue since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Homepoint as Managing Director Capital Markets, Senior Director Capital Markets, Director Capital Markets, and Secondary Marketing Manager. At Homepoint, they were responsible for pricing, generating rate sheets, representing the team in various meetings, and working with the BI team for reporting. Shawn also set up Home Point Financial with Optimal Blue, managed lock desk, maintained rate sheets and LLPA sheets, sold loans, and maintained relationships with investors, broker dealers, and pricing engines. Before Homepoint, Shawn worked as a Secondary Marketing Manager Capital Markets at Maverick Funding, where they worked with MIAC to hedge pipeline and was responsible for locking loans, updating rate sheets, selling closed loans, and tracking monthly fees. Shawn also has experience working at Weichert Realtors as an ISC - Lead Network, JPMorgan Chase as an AVP/Team Manager, WMC/GE Money as a Territory Manager, Home123 as an Operations Manager, and Champion Mortgage as a Senior Secondary Marketing Associate.

Shawn Farrell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Monmouth University, completing their studies from 1993 to 1996.
