Sam Gonzales

Sam Gonzales has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Homepoint as the Senior Managing Director in Consumer Analytics & Capital Markets. Prior to that, from 2016, Sam worked at MB Financial Bank as the Senior Vice President. Sam also held the position of Vice President at Flagstar Bank from 2013 to 2015, where they were responsible for modeling assumptions and developing software solutions. Sam's role as Vice President at OneWest Bank from 2010 to 2013 involved managing a development group and leading the development of an application for valuing assets. Before that, they worked as a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Thornburg Mortgage from 2007 to 2010. Sam started their career as a Procurement Student Intern at Sandia National Laboratories in 2006.

Sam Gonzales earned an MBA in Finance and Management of Technology from the UNM Anderson School of Management, where they studied from 2005 to 2007.
