Paul Emile Degroote

Paul Emile Degroote has extensive experience in the transportation and maintenance sectors, currently serving as a retiree at Home Sweet Home since May 2024. Prior to retirement, Paul held significant leadership roles, including General Director for Transdev overseeing business development in Thailand from July 2018 to May 2024, and General Director at Transdev Aeroport Liaisons from April 2015 to May 2024. Paul also served as Maintenance Director at Veolia Transportation from December 2008 to May 2024, managing operations for the Seoul Line 9, which included overseeing a maintenance team responsible for high-volume passenger services. Additionally, Paul played a key role in the establishment of a new Indian operations and maintenance organization. Early career experiences include serving as Operations Manager for the Rennes Metro while at Keolis from March 2005 to December 2008. Paul Emile Degroote earned a Master’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Lille from 2004 to 2006.
