Sabin Munteanu

Sabin Munteanu has a strong background in risk management, with experience in various roles. Sabin is currently serving as the Director of Non-Financial Risk at Home Trust Company, where they are responsible for risk reporting, leading risk management programs, and maintaining regulatory relationships. Prior to that, they worked at KPMG Canada as a Manager in Risk Advisory, where they advised on target operating model transformations and designed risk frameworks. Sabin also has experience in actuarial analysis and pension consulting from their time at Willis Towers Watson. Overall, they have a diverse skill set in risk management and actuarial analysis.

Sabin Munteanu obtained a High School Diploma with Honors from Don Mills Collegiate Institute, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. They subsequently pursued higher education at the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2013, graduating with an Hon.B.Sc. Specialist in Actuarial Science. They also pursued minors in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Sabin Munteanu obtained the certification of Associate (ASA) from the Society of Actuaries in June 2016. They further acquired the certification of Certified Risk Manager (CRM) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in October 2021.
