Matthew Jaekel

Matthew Jaekel has extensive work experience, beginning in 2009 as Team Captain and President and Co-Founder of the Western Tennis Club for Western University Varsity Tennis Team. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Assistant for CIBC Wood Gundy, and in 2014 they were a Student Brand Ambassador for Teach For Canada. In 2015, they were Faculty at St. Andrew's College. In 2020, they were a Content Writer for Homebuyer, a Curriculum Developer for The College Board, and a Financial Literacy Course Creator for Arist. In 2021, they were a Senior Editor for PiggyBank and a Financial Literacy Consultant for AlphaSights.

Matthew Jaekel completed a Bachelor of Education - BEd from Western University in 2015, in the field of Education. Prior to that, they obtained a Management and Organizational Studies degree from Western University in 2013, in the field of Finance and Administration. Additionally, they are a member of the Ontario College of Teachers.
