MSW Intern, Keeping Families Together/family Treatment Court Team at Homeless Prenatal Program

Sasha Zients is a Post Master's Fellow in Adult Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente, having previously served as an MSW Trainee in the Behavioral Health Integration Program at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Experience includes individual psychotherapy, biopsychosocial assessments, and group facilitation for Veterans, alongside intensive case management at the Homeless Prenatal Program. Prior roles encompass family support and mental health services at Children's National Hospital and Mary's Center, as well as production and editorial positions in journalism at CNN, The Atlantic, and Columbia Daily Spectator. Sasha Zients holds a Master of Social Work from the University of California, Berkeley, and a degree in Sociology from Columbia University, with additional educational experience at Duke University and the University of Havana.
