Kai Zhang

Kai Zhang, MAcc, CPA, CMA, PMP, is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Senior BI Consultant in Strategy & Data Analytics at CIBC since June 2014. In this role, Kai spearheads initiatives to enhance BI tool utilization, leading to significant operational efficiencies and cost savings through optimized processes and automation using Alteryx and Tableau. Kai has previously held positions as a Financial Analyst at Scotiabank and CIBC World Markets, where responsibilities included P&L reporting, data reconciliation, and financial analysis. In addition to these roles, Kai operates as a Real Estate Representative at HomeLife New World Realty Inc. and has experience in auditing as an Internal Auditor at Skylon Tower. Kai holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy and an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brock University.
