Astirah Adeoti

Astirah Adeoti is an experienced professional in the field of social services and immigration, currently serving as Shelter Supervisor and previously as Community Shelter Worker at Homes First since July 2020. Prior to this role, Astirah worked as a Case Manager at Good Shepherd Women’s Services from August 2020 to November 2020. With a robust background in immigration, Astirah served as an Immigration Officer for the Nigeria Immigration Service from October 1989 to October 2018 and held the position of Head of the Immigration Desk at the Embassy of Nigeria from July 2011 to February 2017. Astirah holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law from the University of Jos, obtained in 1997, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Ibadan, completed in 1987. Astirah further pursued education at Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology in Toronto, Canada, from 2018 to 2020.
