Robert J. Specht has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Robert J. currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Homes for Heroes® since January 2021. Prior to that, they were the VP Finance & Controller at Gander Mountain Company, Inc. from May 2004 to June 2016. There, they played a crucial role in growing the company's sales from $480 million to $1.4 billion.

Robert's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Finance-North America at Sopheon Corporation from April 2000 to May 2004, Director of Finance and Accounting at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel from April 1996 to April 2000, and Accounting Manager at Capital Gaming International, Inc. from February 1994 to April 1996.

In the early years of their career, Robert gained valuable experience as an Audit Manager at PwC from December 1989 to May 1992, and as an Audit Senior at Deloitte from December 1985 to December 1989. Overall, Robert J. Specht brings a wealth of financial expertise and leadership experience to their roles.

Robert J. Specht earned a B.S. in Accounting from Rowan University in 1984. Robert J. went on to obtain their MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, graduating in 2002. Additionally, they obtained CPA certification in New Jersey in 1985.
