Andrew Scheelar

Andrew Scheelar possesses extensive experience in energy consulting and analysis, currently serving as a Net Zero & R-2000 Energy Advisor and Quality Assurance Specialist at Homesol Building Solutions Inc. since March 2022. In this role, Andrew audits residential energy use under the EnerGuide Rating System and assists clients with the Greener Homes grant process. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Freelance Energy Analyst at Scheelar Energy, conducting energy audits for small commercial buildings, and as an Energy Analyst at Caneta Research Inc., where responsibilities included energy modeling and regulatory analysis. As a Research Assistant at the Sustainable Energy Applied Research Center, Andrew contributed to solar energy projects. Andrew holds a Technician Diploma in Energy Systems Engineering from St. Lawrence College.
