Your future contribution:

We are looking for a talented Organic/Content Marketing Manager for our English-speaking markets to take full responsibility for our inbound marketing strategies including social media, blogs, and lead generation.

Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends.

Ultimately, you should be able to expand our company’s digital footprint and brand awareness.

How you’ll add value:

  • You will create tailored English content in multiple formats for stakeholders across the business, including senior management
  • You will write targeted articles as part of our global communication campaigns.
  • You will create industry-specific content on our core topics (channel management, vacation rental marketing, travel industry, sales, and digitalization), and via marketing channels (website, newsletters, emails, social media, webinars, podcast, PR)
  • You will develop engaging thought leadership content with a consistent tone of voice for multiple authors across the business
  • You will be collaborating with other members of the content & marketing team  to develop country-specific content
  • You will drive content optimization by working with your colleagues on SEO and translating data into insights.
  • You will create research and storyboards based on current trends and will ensure the preparation of best practice analyses.
  • You will be involved in the different design strategies for the continual creation and improvement of the Smoobu brand.
  • You will help us become the No. 1 vacation rental software player in search.

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • Have 3+ years of work experience as a content writer or editor, ideally gained in a professional services environment
  • Possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Have experience with problem-solving and analytical skills including conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing data, data visualization, developing hypotheses, synthesizing insights & recommendations
  • Have proven success working in digital marketing ideally in the B2B world and/or creative agency within the content marketing fields
  • Have experience in writing search-engine-optimized texts and localization/translation of content.
  • Are a quick learner – creative, proactive, and with a hands-on mentality
  • Are passionate about your work and eager to learn and develop yourself
  • Have an affinity with the SaaS industry. Experience with short-term and vacation rentals is a big plus

Please note that this role is based in Berlin and provides a hybrid working model.
