Catherina Leipold

Catherina Leipold has had a diverse range of work experiences. Catherina most recently worked at Homeward as a Senior Manager of Growth Operations starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager of Growth Operations at the same company from February 2022 to December 2022.

Catherina also worked at Aware Healthcare as the Chief of Staff from September 2021 to December 2021.

Before that, they worked at Springboard, where they held multiple roles including Business Operations Manager from April 2020 to August 2021, People Operations Manager from August 2019 to March 2020, Team Lead - Student Operations from May 2017 to August 2019, and Student Success Manager from June 2016 to April 2017.

Catherina also gained experience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Program Coordinator from April 2015 to April 2016.

Additionally, Catherina worked at Backpacker Magazine as an Editorial Intern from May 2015 to July 2015, Face2Face Films as a Production Intern from September 2014 to December 2014, Ripple Effect Images as an Executive Assistant to Annie Griffiths from June 2014 to August 2014, Lha Charitable Trust as a Sub-editor and Contributing Writer from May 2013 to July 2013, and Walking Tree Travel as a Social Media and Marketing Intern from October 2012 to May 2013.

Catherina Leipold's education history starts with their enrollment at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School from 2008 to 2012, where they completed the International Baccalaureate program. In 2012, they continued their studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a second major in Global Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in Media and Journalism from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media. During their time at UNC, they had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Cape Town for a brief period in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Catherina has also obtained various certifications. In 2019, they completed the certification in "Leading Effective Decision-Making" from the Yale School of Management. In 2020, they became a certified Open Water Scuba Diver through PADI. Most recently, in 2021, they completed the "Sharpen Your Communication Skills" certification offered by the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
