Derrick Cobb

Derrick Cobb is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Senior Innovation Engineer and Technology Innovation Manager at American Honda Motor Company, Derrick focuses on sustainable disruption and innovative scalability, utilizing a transparent and iterative design thinking process. Derrick also co-hosts and produces the WonderTour Podcast at OutRoar Digital Experience, which aims to enhance leadership skills through storytelling. Previously held positions include Staff Engineer roles at Honda Engineering North America and Honda North America, where Derrick contributed to machine intelligence research and manufacturing strategies. Additionally, Derrick has a strong background in technical support and server administration from experiences at The Ohio State University and various companies. Derrick holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, specializing in nanotechnology and microprocessors.
