Lori Payne is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate contract negotiation and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., Lori specializes in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex corporate contracts across various business needs. Previously, Lori held the position of Senior Counsel at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, focusing on third-party supplier contracts and procurement processes. As Assistant Chief Business Counsel for the Ohio Attorney General, responsibilities included overseeing state contracting and compliance audits. Lori’s career began as a Compliance Attorney at JPMorgan Chase, where community engagement and municipal agreements were key responsibilities. Lori holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Capital University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Communication from the University of Dayton.
