Isabel King is a mechanical engineer at Honeybee Robotics, focusing on the design, construction, and testing of robotic systems for space exploration since October 2019. Isabel previously held positions including a Writing Center Consultant at Harvey Mudd College, where consultation on writing projects and presentations at regional conferences occurred, and an Engineering Intern at Booz Allen Hamilton, involved in developing an active software-defined RADAR. Additional experiences include a Systems Engineering Internship at Ball Aerospace, participation in a research fellowship with NASA on lunar crater signatures, and work with United Launch Alliance on testing cryogenic materials. Isabel King holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and is pursuing a PhD in Space Resources at the Colorado School of Mines.
