Shelby Tull is a Mechanical Engineer I at Honeybee Robotics, focusing on the Spin Eject Mechanism for the Mars Sample Return project since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Engineer and Research Assistant at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where Shelby developed hardware testing fixtures and suturing simulation models. As the ASTRA Science Lead and Team Lead at the Space Hardware Club, Shelby led the development of a biochemical experiment and a 50 kg rover for the University Rover Challenge, achieving significant recognition. Additional experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Eikon Research, Inc. and teaching figure skating at Nashville Skating Academy. Shelby is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering at The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
