As the Social Media Manager at HoneyBook, you’ll own the strategic direction of our brand presence across all social media channels to increase awareness and strengthen affinity among independent businesses. You’ll lead content creation, channel development, and community management across all existing HoneyBook social media channels and strategic expansion into new channels when relevant to our business goals. 

In this critical role, you’ll represent the voice of the HoneyBook brand out in the world and influence our perception in the market as a leader for independent businesses. You’ll drive impact not only through the content you create but also the relationships you build with our community. By bringing our unique brand voice and value to life on social media, you’ll play an essential role in attracting new users, deepening our connection to existing customers, and strengthening our position as the best-in-class solution for independent business owners. 

Your success will be measured by your ability to drive channel growth, influence top-of-funnel acquisition, and increase meaningful brand engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the HoneyBook brand on social media. This role will start in the short term as an IC but grow into a management position to build out our social team.  and grow our social team. 

Here are a few of the things you will do:

  • Develop and execute social strategy – own the strategic direction of the HoneyBook brand across social media informed by company objectives and goals. 
  • Increase brand awareness and affinity – develop and distribute content that resonates with our target audience, inspires engagement, and builds trust. 
  • Educate and excite our audience – create compelling on-brand multimedia content that highlights our product, marketing campaigns, educational resources, community, and more. 
  • Drive top-of-funnel growth – set goals, track performance, and analyze results to optimize our content for conversion. 
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders – collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to develop content, seize opportunities, and achieve objectives. 
  • Inform creative direction – share POV and best practices in partnership with design and creative teams to develop thumb-stopping content.
  • Identify emerging trends – represent shifts in culture and emerging trends to the broader company as a thought leader, and understand how to convert these insights into opportunities on social that promote HoneyBook as an aware and beloved brand.

Here is what is needed:

  • 5+ years of social media content creation and community management experience with a proven track record of driving growth. 
  • Proficient in best practices for most social media platforms. Instagram, Threads, and LinkedIn, in particular. 
  • Familiarity with tools for tracking analytics, social listening, and channel management, like Later, Planoly, Sprout Social, or similar. 
  • Experience with design tools like Canva and/or Figma. 
  • Prior management experience
