We are looking for an experienced,  mission-driven, collaborative, and impact-driven partnerships leader l to join HoneyBook to build and grow our product partnerships ecosystem.  You will work closely with our Product and GTM teams to identify and bring to market critical product-oriented partnerships and integrations. You are a team player who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and you’ll report to the Head of Partnerships and Ecosystem. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of in-office presence at our San Francisco or New York office 2-3 days a week. 

Here are a few of the things you will do:

  • Identify, build, and manage the strategic ecosystem partnerships portfolio that supports both growth and product market fit needs
  • Partner with the Head of Business Development on identifying new strategic partnerships and business development opportunities that will help accelerate growth and cement HoneyBook as the leading business management tool for independent business owners 
  • Identify industry tools and complimentary technology for HoneyBook to partner and integrate with to enhance HoneyBook’s offering for customers
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of HoneyBook’s customer, our offerings, and the broader industry landscape to identify and establish new, profitable business opportunities
  • Leverage these partnerships to expand the recognition and reach of HoneyBook and our brand
  • You’ll work closely with Product, Research, and Go to Market teams on third-party technology and data integrations, and generally work cross-functionally across different teams and levels with high visibility

Here is what we’re looking for in a candidate:

  • You’ve done this before; possibly with another team, or in a different industry, but you know what you need to drive this function
  • You understand the pace and demands of a pre-IPO startup, and you’re skilled at prioritization, execution, and cross-functional communication 
  • You are comfortable working on multiple opportunities simultaneously and to set appropriate priorities with internal and external clients and deliver results efficiently
  • You’re strategic, entrepreneurial, as well as business-oriented; you have range
  • You operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive solutions-oriented attitude to the job, you’re collaborative and open-minded
  • A few other skills you possess would be: strong leader, persuasive, analytical, strong business acumen
  • You will be a strategic thought partner to the Head of Business Development, the broader Ecosystem team, and Product

Here is what is needed:

  • 7+ years of experience, ideally in B2B2C, SaaS, or SMB-focused capacity, with at least 5 years of partnerships experience
  • Experience in structuring commercial terms, negotiating and closing partnerships, as well as working cross functionally to align and launch partnerships
  • An understanding of how to work with Product on integrations, APIs, and app marketplaces
  • Proven business development, partnerships, and GTM, experience
  • Fintech experience or domain expertise a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field

    • The compensation range we expect to pay for this role reporting to our New York or San Francisco office is $165,000-$190,000.
