Amitesh Kumar

Amitesh Kumar is an accomplished professional in cyber security, currently serving as Director of Cyber Security - Product Security at Honeywell since October 2020, where leadership of the global Product Security team for the Building Automation group involves the implementation of comprehensive Product Security strategies. Prior roles include serving as Senior Cyber Security Manager at Honeywell and managing Product Security at Netskope, where Amitesh developed the Secure Software Development Lifecycle framework. Additionally, as a Founding Member of the Bangalore Chapter of the IoT Security Foundation, a global not-for-profit organization, Amitesh contributes to enhancing the security of interconnected devices. Earlier experiences include significant positions at Amazon and McAfee, where Amitesh managed development and QA teams across various pivotal projects and played a key role in implementing secure development practices. Amitesh holds a PGDBM from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from D. Y. Patil College of Engineering.
