Angela Mak

Dr. Angela Mak is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University, where Angela has been since July 2015, focusing on leading the public relations program and mentoring future communicators. With extensive international experience from prestigious institutions such as Monash University, where Angela served as Senior Lecturer and head of the public relations program, and Nanyang Technological University, where Angela was an Assistant Professor and supervised notable national campaigns, Dr. Mak has a rich background in teaching various aspects of communication including corporate social responsibility, crisis communication, and publicity. Dr. Mak completed a PhD in Public Relations at the University of Oregon, preceded by a Master of Philosophy from Hong Kong Baptist University.
