Lian Ka Siew

Appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) on 1 January 2014, Mr Lian oversees cement business operations of Tasek Corporation Berhad (TCB) including Plant Operations, Finance & Treasury, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Logistic, Supply Chain and Human Resource departments. He also leads the overall ready-mixed concrete business under Tasek Concrete Sdn Bhd (TCSB).

Prior to becoming GCOO, Mr Lian was formerly the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of TCB from 2009 to 2019. Mr Lian has been part of TCB since 15 July 2009 and has helped guide the company throughout these years to maintain its market leader position in the industry.

Mr Lian has more than 30 years of experience in the public accounting sector and commercial / industrial sectors from his senior management positions previously held at the Coopers & Lybrand, Mulpha International Berhad, Gold Coin Berhad and Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd. He is an active member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) and The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“MICPA”).
