Kurt Tiesman

Kurt Tiesman is an experienced professional in community development and corporate relations with a robust background in marketing and partnership management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Community Development Officer at Honor Credit Union since July 2021, Kurt focuses on building relationships with local entities to further organizational objectives. Previous roles include Leadership Giving Coordinator at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where Kurt engaged with donors to support the institution's mission, and Regional Corporate Relations for the American Cancer Society, where strategic corporate account management was key. Additional experience encompasses positions with the Detroit Tigers, Playfly Sports, and the University of Michigan Athletics, among others, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in corporate partnerships and event marketing.
