Darren Jex

Darren Jex has a long and varied work experience. In 1997, they began their career as a Sales Counselor at Circuit City, where they trained consumers on key products. In 2000, they moved to Hewlett-Packard as an Account Executive. In 2004, they joined MarketStar Corporation as an Account Executive, where they managed a team of Brand Advocates and developed brand strategy and statistics systems. Darren then moved up to Senior Account Executive and then Director of Client Services, where they managed and maintained a team of over 250 employees and managed multi-million dollar budgets. In the same year, they also founded Coldwater Productions, a photography and video editing business in Ogden, Utah. In 2013, they joined the Whirlpool Corporation as Head of Digital Marketing for the Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) and as Sr. Manager, Projects and Digital Content. In 2019, they were appointed as Director of Marketing Technology at Vail Resorts. In 2020, they became Director of Technology at Transparent. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed as VP of Solutions at Hoodoo Digital.

Darren Jex completed their Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Weber State University between 1997 and 2004. Prior to that, they attended Bear River from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Adobe, Sitecore, and Scotwork North America in 2022, 2021, and 2012 respectively.
